Easter Holidays
The school will close for the Easter Holidays on Friday April 8th at 12.30pm.

Confirmation
Best wishes to our 5th and 6th class pupils who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday March 25th at 11.00am. . Thomas Anthony will be available on the day to take photographs. He will be set up in the Parish Hall from 10am.
We are looking for volunteers to help with set up and with serving tea & coffee. If you are available, please send an email to mooneparents@gmail.com or text Cathal on 087 7713365. We are also looking for donations of baked/bought goods and the hall will be open from 9.30am on Friday to accept the same.

Moone Classic & Vintage Road Run
Moone Classic & Vintage are holding a road run on Sunday April 10th in aid of the restoration of Moone Church. We are asking you to support this community cause and help restore our beautiful church so that it will be there for the generations to come.
We are sending home to each family a Sponsorship Card. All donations will be gladly appreciated. If you do not wish to make a donation, please return the Sponsorship Card to the school. All cards are to be returned to the school by Friday April 8th.

Enrolments
The closing date for Admissions for Junior Infants September 2022 has now passed. If you have forgotten to send in an Admission Form, please contact the school immediately.

We would like to remind parents that children should not attend school if they have any symptoms of Covid-19 infection. We advise parents to take a precautionary approach that if a child appears unwell, observe them at home and contact their GP as appropriate.

Student Council
Our student council ran a Lá Glas (Green Day) on Wednesday March 16th to raise money to purchase new nets for our goalposts on the school pitch. Instead of spending the money on the nets the children decided to donate the money to the children of Ukraine. €513 was donated on the day. Thank you for all your kind donations.

Sport
5th & 6th class will attend a Tag-Rugby in Athy RFC on Wednesday, March 30th.
12 children will represent the school in a Cross Country Running Event on April 7th.
